Dreadnots find top gear to see off O Raghallaigh’s

Goalscorer – Dreadnots’ Jay Hughes.

On Friday night in Pentony Park, Dreadnots continued their winning ways to provide a healthy cushion between themselves and their opponents O Raghallaigh’s at the bottom of the Division 1 table.

The win-less hosts were once again on the wrong side of the result but were right back into it in the first half when Kyle McElroy found the net to make it 0-7 to 1-2 after Jay Hughes had hit four points in the opening quarter.

Craig Shevlin opened and closed the half with scores, with only a point separating the sides at that stage of the match, but after the break the hosts went up another gear.

Substitute Conor Shevlin provided the daylight when raising a green flag and Hughes quickly added another goal to make it double scores and all but seal the points early in the second half.
